Description : The point of focus was the red flower in the center of the shot, but looking at a blown-up scan of the print, I see that I should have stopped the aperature down for this shot to get more depth of field. The subject just isn't large enough to pull it together.

Vegetation seems to be a good test of color rendering. It's something most people are familiar with. Here I see limitations of 669 color rendering. The flower really is more vibrant in person. The green vegetation looks alright, and the fence color is dead-on. (I'm sure my cheap scanner doesn't help, either.)

The vertical lines on the bottom of the shot are scanner- induced; there's some dust on the underside of the scan bed. In the future I'll have to avoid scanning on that section of the scanner.
